At Brokkestøylen, our culinary experiences are rooted in local ingredients, the changing seasons and the surrounding landscape. From our regenerative kitchen garden to carefully selected local producers, every ingredient tells the story of Setesdal.

A Way of Living
A full day where flavour takes centre stage. The experience includes an aperitif, 8 courses crafted from local Setesdal ingredients, an overnight stay in our exclusive dome, and breakfast served the following morning.
Our menu is shaped by the forests and mountains around us, following the rhythm of the seasons throughout the year.

Our 2026 season is now fully booked. Bookings for the 2027 season will open after the summer. We look forward to welcoming new guests to another season of nature, tranquillity and award-winning gastronomy.

A new season.
The 2027 season is now open for booking – four evenings, each a distinct expression of Setesdal's nature and flavour: June 4th, July 16th, August 27th and October 1st.
Every date carries its own character, shaped by what the mountainside yields in that particular moment. By request from past guests, this season's menu has grown from four to six courses, for an even richer journey through the evening's flavours.
For guests wishing to extend the experience, the evening can be paired with an overnight stay in one of our domes, subject to availability — simply reach out to us to arrange this.
Seating is limited to a handful of guests each evening. Should your preferred date already be booked, we warmly invite you to join the waiting list — we will be in touch should a place become available.
