Wild Rose Vinegar
Crafted from handpicked wild rose petals in Southern Norway, this unfiltered vinegar is produced at Brokkestøylen.
Often considered invasive, wild rose is here reimagined—transformed into an aromatic and expressive vinegar with depth, freshness, and a delicate floral character.
Its versatility allows it to pair beautifully with shellfish, oysters, and salads, as well as desserts such as dark chocolate. It also adds brightness to sauces and works elegantly with goat’s cheese and blue cheeses.
Served with sparkling water, it forms part of our non-alcoholic pairings, and may also be used to add complexity to cocktails.
A simple preparation we favour:
4 cl vinegar with 6–10 cl sparkling water.
Presented in a frosted glass bottle with a wooden cork.
Unfiltered. Shake gently before use. Store refrigerated after opening and protect from direct light. Natural variation may occur. Available in limited quantities.
