Wild Geitrams vinegar was also awarded the honorary title "Speciality" during the opening day of the UMAMI food fair by the Minister of Agriculture and Food, Nils Kristian Sandtrøen. He says that the product is in a class of its own in its category and therefore deserves the honorary title. Geitrams vinegar received silver with 92 points in the international London Spirits Competition April, 2025. We think this is great! :-)


We like to make food/products from wild ingredients, which most people see as weeds. Many people "hate" both goat's milk thistle and wild roses. The latter are now banned in Norway and are plants we can't get rid of. Instead of fighting them, we make exclusive, unfiltered and aromatic vinegars from the plants. Our Goat's Milk Vinegar is fermented and made from hand-picked goat's milk thistle here at Brokkestøylen in Setesdal where we are located.
When making products from natural ingredients, you may experience that the color will gradually diminish, but the taste will remain. We think it is "gama" (fun) to be able to offer: "The Taste of Setesdal"!

The uses are many: cold salads, shellfish and especially oysters, cheeses, desserts such as white and dark chocolate. Mushroom sauces and other brown sauces if you want a little extra "sting". Grilled sandwiches with tomatoes and white goat cheese. We also serve it as one of our non-alcoholic signature drinks. It is also delicious in various alcoholic drinks such as, for example, our gin as a drink mix. Only your imagination stops you here for the various uses! The bottle is very generous in use!

If you want it as a drink, we like to mix it as follows: 4 cl of goat's rum vinegar with 6-10 cl of carbonated water, depending on how strong you want it. Enjoy!

The bottle is made of frosted glass with a wooden stopper and has a beautiful purple color. When empty, the bottle can be reused for "everything". A very nice option as a hostess gift or if you want something special for yourself. If you are a restaurant that wants something wild and beautiful with a special taste, please contact us!

NB! Turn over before use. Store at room temperature 18-20 degrees and in the refrigerator after opening. Should avoid heat and light/sunlight. Shelf life approx. 12 months. Net content 120ml.
